Mr. Martucci has more than 15 years of experience litigating and resolving complex civil litigation primarily in the construction defect area of law. Mr. Martucci’s experience in real estate both in litigation and business matters gives him a unique understanding of his clients' interests in effectively and efficiently resolving matters. Mr. Martucci was employed by national homebuilder John Laing Homes where he served as its General Counsel. He also represented trade contractors in construction defect lawsuits prior to his employ with John Laing Homes, gaining experience litigating these matters from very different perspectives to provide his clients with exceptional and cost efficient results. Mr. Martucci also has extensive experience litigating and resolving premises liability, personal injury and unlawful detainer matters.

Mr. Martucci’s legal work has also given him a great deal of transactional experience which includes the drafting and negotiation of subcontracts, land purchase and sales agreements, purchase and sales agreements with homeowners, Disposement and Development Agreements with municipalities such as the cities of Tustin and San Clemente and various contracts regarding the intellectual property rights of homebuilders. Mr. Martucci also has experience in managing the due diligence activities for new real estate and corporate acquisitions. He has participated in the formation of new corporations and other business entities, as well as monitored and completed the ongoing requirements to keep these companies in good standing with the California Secretary of State. Finally, Mr. Martucci has extensive experience in handling various human resource duties including review of benefit packages, corporate policy documents and suspension and termination agreements.

More recently, Mr. Martucci has been researching and litigating copper pipe pitting and corrosion claims which are plaguing primarily the South Orange County, CA communities for several of the Firm’s clients. Mr. Martucci has been working with the nation’s leading experts as well as construction personnel of various homebuilders to develop protocols for potential project wide repairs and preventative measures at time of construction to minimize this risk.

Mr. Martucci received his Juris Doctorate from Western State University School of Law in 1999, and received his undergraduate degree from Fullerton College. Mr. Martucci is admitted to appear before all state and federal courts in California.

Mr. Martucci is active in community activities and outreach programs, including service and fundraising activities for the Beach Cities YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and he is an active fundraiser for the Interval House battered women shelters.
